The shooter Call of Duty Infinite Warfare has not sold well.
According to analysts, the latest installment of Call of Duty has sold nearly 50% less compared to its predecessor, Black Ops 3, in terms of “box” sales in the USA in November. The information comes from CNBC, which obtained it from a “Wall Street” analyst who evaluated the NPD data – a major market research firm in the USA.
CoD: Infinite Warfare was released on November 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The poor sales figures may have also contributed to Activision Blizzard’s stock losing 20% compared to the peak in mid-October.

Analyst Doug Creutz is quoted saying: Infinite Warfare has performed 17% worse than expected. The title is now close to 50% fewer units sold year-over-year.
Another anonymous source from Wall Street supports Creutz’s assessment and estimates the decline in sales to be 51% – the source wishes to remain anonymous because they are not actually allowed to reveal their firm’s research numbers. Initial figures from the UK also support these claims.
However, it should be noted: These are only the box sales, the sales that went over the counter. The figures do not account for digital sales.
