On May 29, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will kick off, along with Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4. The roadmap with upcoming content is already available and reveals, among other things, new weapons, maps, and modes.

Season 4 brings some new content for the multiplayer of Season 6, including new maps and modes. Here we summarize what to expect in detail.
New maps for multiplayer in Season 4
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 receives a total of 5 new maps for multiplayer in Season 4:
- Shutdown (Launch, Core, 6v6, Small)
- Fugitive (Launch, Core, 6v6, Medium)
- Blitz (Launch, Strike, 6v6/2v2, Small)
- Eclipse (Mid-Season, Strike, 6v6/2v2, Small)

Team Elimination (Launch)
- A special version of “Kill Confirmed,” where both teams have a limited number of lives. The team that survives the longest wins.
One in the Chamber (during the season)
- A free-for-all mode where each player only has a pistol with one bullet and a knife. This one bullet is guaranteed to kill if you hit. Each player has 3 lives.
Party Ops (Mid-Season, time-limited)
- Players compete in a randomly selected series of party-themed mini-games. The player with the highest score at the end of the match wins.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies – New content in Season 4
The zombie mode of Black Ops 6 will also be updated with new content. The highlight of this season, however, is not a new map but a competitive mode where 2 teams compete against each other.
The Grief mode returns in Season (Launch, 4v4)
How does the mode work? Grief is a competitive mode. Two teams of four players fight to see who can survive against the zombies the longest. They can use “Griefs” (debuffs) obtained by capturing zones to impose tougher conditions on the opposing team. The team that stands last wins.
- There is no direct damage to enemy players.
- Played on “Grief Arenas” on 5 maps – Liberty Falls, Terminus, Citadelle des Morts, The Tomb, Shattered Veil
- Examples of Griefs: weapon nerf, ammo drain, zombie ambush, frozen.

- New ammo mod: Shatter Blast – Explosive rounds that can destroy armor (Launch)
- New gums: Explosive Flourish, Flavor Hex, Rainburps – (Launch)

New modes for Warzone in Season 4
- Resurgence Casual (Mid-Season): A simplified version of Resurgence on Rebirth Island, where some of the opponents are not players but bots.
- Clash (Launch, time-limited, 52v52): A kind of massive team deathmatch. Points are earned through kill contracts, for example.
- Havoc Royale (Mid-Season, time-limited): Resurgence with changing modifiers that influence the match flow
New perk, field upgrade and killstreaks

Loot Master (Mid-Season): A perk for Resurgence and Plunder matches that helps with looting and increases the amount of loot found in boxes.
New killstreaks
- Care Package (Mid-Season): A killstreak that creates a smoke cloud upon throwing, after which a box lands that may contain rare loot. Found in ground loot.
