In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 you can play with players on another platform – but not everyone wants that. We will show you how to disable crossplay.
What is crossplay? Crossplay is a setting in various games that allows you to play with or against players on another platform.
With crossplay, for example, you can play the multiplayer of Black Ops 6 on PS5 and hunt over the maps together with friends who are playing on PC or Xbox.
How to disable crossplay in Black Ops 6
How do I disable crossplay? First, you need to open the game’s settings and select “Account & Network”. Then you will find the option to disable crossplay in the “Online” section. Here it is again in summary:

In ranked mode, you also cannot disable crossplay on console, but that is supposed to change with Season 2.
If you play on Xbox, you additionally have the option to disable crossplay through the console settings. There, you need to open “Online Safety and Family” and click on “Privacy and Online Safety”.
Then you navigate to the “Xbox Privacy” settings and under “Communication and Multiplayer” you need to block “cross-network play”. Here it is again summarized:
