After PS4 players were allowed to take matters into their own hands last weekend, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta starts today, Friday, also on Xbox One and PC.
It is time! Today, Friday, August 10, 2018, the Black Ops 4 Beta enters its second round for PS4 players. But PC and Xbox One players can also dive into multiplayer battles for the first time starting today.
Black Ops 4 with Private Beta on consoles and Open Beta on PC
The Black Ops 4 Beta will take place over two weekends. Last weekend was exclusive to PS4. Today, it finally kicks off on all participating platforms.
Private Beta on consoles: From August 10 at 7:00 PM to August 13 at 7:00 PM, the Private Beta runs for the second time – this time on PS4 and Xbox One.
Private Beta on PC: For PC players, the Beta also starts today, on August 10 at 7:00 PM – but only for those who pre-ordered the game.
Open Beta on PC: All others can join the Open Beta a day later, on Saturday, August 11, at 7:00 PM. All you need for this Open Beta phase is a Battle.net account. The Beta will remain active on PC until August 13 at 7:00 PM.
By the way: No Open Beta phase has been announced for consoles so far. However, Activision could also open the gates for all interested parties on consoles at some point, as has been done in the past with other Betas.
How to participate in the Black Ops 4 Private Beta
Only through pre-order: The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta is not available to all players. A guaranteed participation opportunity is only available through a retail pre-order of the game, either via the PS Store, Xbox Store, or Battle.net.
If you pre-ordered through retail, you will receive a token that you can redeem through the official site. In exchange, you will get a code for PS4, Xbox One, or Battle.net. If you pre-ordered through Amazon, you will receive the code via email. If you pre-ordered digitally, you will be able to download the Beta through the store of your respective platform.
