Halloween is approaching! This will be an important event for the MMORPG Shroud of the Avatar, as the new decorations are expected to generate significant revenue.
The housing system and the social component of Shroud of the Avatar are key elements of the game. The developers generate revenue from both to continue funding the game’s development. Halloween comes at just the right time, as it provides a great opportunity to introduce new costumes for Halloween parties as well as plenty of spooky decorations for player houses.
C3PO as Investor-exclusive Decoration
In Shroud of the Avatar, mechanical devices play a significant role, as the world is not a purely fantasy realm, but incorporates some steampunk elements. This includes, for example, robots.
With a new golden robot, known as an Automaton, you can decorate your house for Halloween, but only if you participated in the SeedInvest campaign, as the figure is intended to show other players that you have invested not just in the game, but also in the company. This Automaton closely resembles C3PO from Star Wars.
Celebrate Halloween in the Game
In the SotA add-on store, you will find many more Halloween-themed decoration items that you can purchase even if you are not an investor in the SeedInvest campaign. This includes a headless horseman statue for $75, a spooky pumpkin head for $10, and a decorative scythe for $20.
Anyone who wants to further support the developers can participate in the monthly telethon on October 12, which also significantly contributes to the funding of the game.
The MMORPG Shroud of the Avatar is set to release next year. A release date is expected to be announced by the end of this year. Currently, optimization work is still being done on quests, game areas, and fundamental game systems. Furthermore, the developers are already considering the upcoming Episode 2, which will tell a new story on a new continent.
The development of the MMORPG Shroud of the Avatar is not progressing to the satisfaction of all parties involved. Many backers continue to express disappointment that the game is straying further from the version presented during the Kickstarter campaign.
