Besides strong weapons, the armors are also one of the main reasons to grind in Destiny 2. For the 2024 Festival of the Lost event, Bungie has come up with a special armor set, taking fashion enthusiasts into account.
What is the Festival of the Lost event? Every year in December, the Festival of the Lost event starts in Destiny 2. In this event, Guardians celebrate the winter. They receive an oven from the event grandma “Eva Levante” and can then bake various cookies from different ingredients found in the galaxy. These cookies can then be delivered to NPCs to earn rewards.
At each Festival of the Lost event, there is also a new event armor that Bungie designs specifically. This time, the developers have listened to the community, ensuring that the armor can adapt well, depending on which shader you want to use.

What has Bungie prepared? This time, fans can look forward to a dragon set equipped with galaxy wings that can even move. According to Bungie, the developers have specifically taken fan requests into consideration and tried to perfect the set.
Fans often complained that different shaders did not harmonize well with the sets. Often, colors appear in the wrong places, thus ruining the overall picture of the Guardians’ fashion ideas. With the upcoming set, however, Bungie wanted to address these complaints and create something with which Guardians can easily switch their colors without fearing that their set will look terrible.
When does the Festival of the Lost 2024 start? According to Bungie, the Festival of the Lost event 2024 will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. With it, Guardians will then be able to acquire the new dragon set as well as old sets from previous years for free using Glimmer. So if you’re interested, you should definitely stock up on your Glimmer by then.
