Over 5 million copies of Monster Hunter World have already been delivered by Capcom. To celebrate the success, the company has put together a free Celebration Package with in-game items for the fans. But not everyone has received their gift, the 5 million item package.
The gift packages in Monster Hunter World were supposed to be sent out in waves. However, many players still haven’t received their items. And we now know why.
A bug is to blame for the missing 5 million item package
On the official Monster Hunter World site, Capcom announced that the package could not be delivered properly due to a bug.
We sincerely apologize for an error that has prevented some customers from receiving the “5 million item package” that was recently added with an update. As soon as the item package is available again, we will inform you – until then, we ask for a little patience while we address the issue.
The thank-you gift includes the following items:
- 50 x Mega Potion
- 20 x Life Powder
- 10 x Demon Powder
- 10 x Hard Shell Powder
- 5 x Steel
Capcom initially announced that the package would be available until February 15. It is not known whether this deadline will be extended due to the bug.
Keep in mind that you can only receive the package once. So if you have already picked up yours, you were not affected by the bug.
