In ESO Update 35 has been loaded onto the servers, but this led to an annoying bug with the new card game “Tales of Tribute”. ZeniMax had to step in to minimize the damage.
What kind of bug is this? The latest Update 35 in The Elder Scrolls Online has caused confusion among some players. When they logged in, they received a lower rank in their highly sought-after card game “Ruhmesgeschichten” without having done anything. This should not happen and players reported this absurd behavior of the system to the developers.
To contain the damage, ZeniMax eventually disabled the leaderboards and leaderboard games temporarily for the card game to get to the bottom of the problem.
Players receive lower ranks for nothing
Can I still play Tales of Tribute now? You do not have to worry, as casual matches of your beloved card game on High Isle are still possible.

Only the leaderboard matches were removed until a fix for the issue was found.
When will the leaderboards work again? This is still not known. The fact is that the development team is working hard on a hotfix. So, until its release, you will still have to wait.
What happens to my lost ranks? You don’t have to worry about that either, as the developers made it clear that when the hotfix is rolled out, every player will regain their old rank prior to Update 35. So if you lost any, you will get them back.
What do you think about the card game on High Isle? Do you find it varied and cool to be able to play tactical card games in ESO besides the bloody slaughter? Please let us know in the comments what you think about this and whether you were affected as well!
