A small bug in Call of Duty: Warzone can steal important items that you want to give to your teammates. What stairs have to do with it and how to avoid the bug is shown by MeinMMO.
What kind of bug is this? Players of Call of Duty: Warzone are tough when it comes to bugs, glitches, or errors in the battle royale. However, they also like to give – especially cash and ammunition to their teammates.
However, there is currently a problem here. If you place your small gifts incorrectly, they simply disappear without a trace.
What does it look like? The player “ohrules”, known in the Warzone as “Botman”, shows a clip on Reddit where he loses some ammunition packs while dropping them:
How can I avoid this? “Botman” already gives the crucial hint in the title of the thread: “Avoid dropping items on the stairs that lead to the subway stations. They go right through the floor. We lost 5,000 cash at that staircase.”
If you want to make sure that you do not lose your items at stairs, avoid completely dropping gifts on stairs. This also includes laid-down weapons, ammunition, and armor plate crates.
Although “Botman” only mentions the stairs leading to subway stations, this might also apply to other larger staircase houses.
Is there a fix for this? A response from the developers regarding the bug has not been found so far. Since the fix for the annoying “demon weapons”, more and more graphic errors are appearing that currently disturb the game. For now, you should be careful not to drop ammunition and cash on stairs. Other players have also reported the problem in the thread.
It is hard to say whether this is just a small error in collision detection that could be easily fixed or if there is more behind it. The bug is annoying, and the developers at Infinity Ward will surely fix it eventually, but for now, the one-shot gun “FR 5.56” is in focus. Due to a broken attachment, the assault rifle has become the strongest tool in Warzone for close combat.
