In League of Legends, the Patch 10.7 was recently released on the test server. It brought a buff for the champion Nasus, who has been a bit out of control.
What changes have been made to Nasus? Nasus, the Keeper of the Sands, is a jackal-headed champion who is mainly found in the top lane. There, he usually farms minions to enhance his Q ability “Siphoning Strike”.
With each kill made by this ability, Nasus collects stacks of enhancements for “Siphoning Strike”. However, Patch 10.7 will change this:
- He continues to collect stacks through kills.
- These now also enhance the W ability “Wither”. Every 35 stacks grants additional range, but the range caps at 800.
- Every 100 stacks additionally increases the AoE of the R ability “Fury of the Sands” by 5%. At the same time, Nasus grows 5% more with each 100 stacks when he uses the ability.
And this growth can lead to very funny moments in the game.
Nasus becomes larger than the screen can display
What happened? The Reddit user BobTheWhaler went overboard on the test server and collected 8,100 stacks on his ability in a match. In a normal game, 400 to 600 is realistic.
With this enormous number of stacks, Nasus grows extremely large. He becomes so big that he is no longer fully visible on the screen:

Even though this scenario will not occur in a real game, the update might at least help Nasus find his way back into the meta. Currently, the champion is unpopular.
Moreover, Nasus breaks a record. Until now, the champion Cho’Gath was always the biggest, as he also grows whenever an enemy is defeated by his ultimate ability. However, this can be used significantly less often than Nasus’s “Q” and also has a maximum.
Major rework for Fiddlesticks
What else does Patch 10.7 change? The highlight of the new update is the overhaul of the champion Fiddlesticks, who has received new attributes, reworks of his abilities, and even visual adjustments.
There were also minor balance changes to the champion Galio.
When will the patch be released? The new Patch 10.7 will be released, assuming nothing changes, regularly on April 1 on the live server.
If this update on Nasus hasn’t given you enough desire to play LoL, then perhaps these new features will:
- With the new Patch 10.6, the popular gamemode “All for One” returned.
- Furthermore, two weeks earlier, the Eternals were released, bringing you new achievements and tasks.
- Competitive fans can also follow the LEC again from Friday, March 20, if only in online matches.
