Call of Duty: Warzone has made significant changes to the sniper weapons with the new Season 3, and it seems they may have made a mistake. The Type 99 sniper rifle is far too powerful and achieves one-shot kills with the right attachments on chest hits. MeinMMO shows you the details.
As in Season 1, the Type 99 sniper rifle is far too powerful in Call of Duty: Warzone. The rifle is supposed to deliver lethal hits in the first damage range with headshots, but chest hits also take down your enemies.
The Warzone YouTuber “IceManIsaac” has discovered the exaggerated power of the weapon and shows in his video which attachments you should use for the deadly combination (via YouTube.com). MeinMMO shows you the setup.

What does the setup look like? Three specific attachments are important, which also caused the heavy damage in Season 1: the 712mm barrel, the 8mm Klauser ammunition, and the “Vital” perk.
For the other attachments, you can choose according to your preferences. IceManIsaac suggests the following setup. It is an aggressive quick-scope setup:

How do I utilize the strength of the setup? Play the Type 99 alongside a submachine gun that provides you with decent range as sniper support. The Owen Gun with a setup without a barrel is very suitable for this.
In total, you then have a very aggressive loadout with a lot of damage. Play accordingly and always engage the enemies.
With the Type 99, you can achieve one-shot kills with chest hits and headshots at up to nearly 45 meters with this setup. However, the hit zone at the neck does not have high damage. If you hit exactly between the chest and head, it is possible that the enemy remains standing.
During the last outburst of the Type 99, it took a few weeks until the high damage was fixed in the game. So far, there is no statement from the developers about the overpowered damage. A nerf is likely on the way soon.
