Purchase stations in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and DMZ are usually key to success. However, a new bug is causing the tools to simply swallow you.
A round of Warzone usually begins like this: You drop alone or with your friends over your favorite spot in Al’Mazrah or on Ashika Island. Once on the ground, you grab a gun and some gear, and the hunt for opponents or the search for the next mission begins.
For many players, the next step is to rush to the purchase station. There’s everything needed to survive in the Warzone. Weapons, armor plates, tactical items, and even entire loadouts can now be purchased.
But beware, a new bug at the purchase stations can ruin your entire round now.
What kind of bug is this? When you jump on a purchase station or dive behind them for cover, you may be swallowed by them. You’ll then be trapped in a small box and can’t get out on your own. But don’t worry, there are ways to escape the trap. Only solo players should be cautious.
With Season 2 Reloaded, many new features came to Al’Mazrah and Ashika Island. Apparently, a bug has also entered the scene.

In the subreddit r/CODWarzone, user u/Jesus_CoD posted a video showing how he is kidnapped by a purchase station. He desperately tries to free himself from the grasp of the box, but in the end, only a precision airstrike helps. In a knocked-out state, he somehow manages to wriggle out of the box and get revived afterwards.
Under his post, there are numerous comments from other players who have experienced the same fate. The bug seems to occur not only in Warzone but also in DMZ. Both Al’Mazrah and Ashika Island are affected.
This also happened to us in DMZ. My friend even tried to blow himself free with a grenade. Nothing helped. We had to get a vehicle and drive very close to the purchase station. That way he could get into the ATV and free himself. That seems to be the only option.

Apparently, many players have already been affected by the bug. The Trello board of the developers suggests that the bug is at least known. However, when the bug will be fixed is still unclear. So be particularly careful when approaching a purchase station next time. As long as you approach without jumping, you should be safe.
