Rank 3: Benedict’s search is much more offensive

What happens in the series? After the fateful encounter at the masquerade ball, Benedict wants to find his lady in silver at all costs. He attends balls, meets numerous ladies, and hopes to discover his beloved by chance. However, his search is not really concrete at the beginning.
Only when his mother confronts him does he open up. The glove leads him to the Penwood house. However, after a disappointing meeting with Rosamund and Posy, he leaves again.
What happens in the book? Unlike in the series, Benedict approaches the search in the book much more directly and offensively. He immediately asks his mother for help and is able to identify the family crest on the glove.
At the Penwoods, it’s not just a friendly tea with Rosamund and Posy. He engages in a heated discussion with Lady Penwood, trying to corner her with questions to extract more information from her. Unfortunately, this method is also not very successful. Nevertheless, Benedict appears a bit sharper and more determined than in the series.
