This explanation calmed the emotions, and people congratulated Lenun for his cool mom who cheers alongside him. It was even suggested that the two should form a team and rock Warzone in duo mode.

In CoD Warzone recently featured a powerful tournament with a prize pool of 100,000 dollars. Young pro Lenun aimed to snatch this amount, prompting his mother to step in with well-meaning advice. Read the whole story here on MeinMMO.
Who played? The young streamer and pro gamer Lennon aka “Lenun” participated in a high-stakes tournament in CoD Warzone. While Lenun may not be as famous as top players like Scump or shroud, the 19-year-old has already won over 50,000 dollars in 15 tournaments, including 2nd place in the highly contested EU Trios of the World Series of Warzone.
What happened in the game? In the midst of the tournament, Lenun anxiously lurked near a ladder through which an opponent could soon climb. Like a cat waiting for a mouse, he was focused when suddenly a woman’s voice sounded from the background:
You need to listen to your gut feeling, Len! Trust your gut!
Lenun’s Mom
This naive yet well-meaning advice evidently came from the player’s mother, who seemed to be watching her son’s game from another room. Unable to bear the tension any longer, she eventually succumbed to the urge to offer her son this essential maternal advice, “Trust your gut!”
Lenun, on the other hand, was far from pleased with the interruption and reacted quite irritably: “I’m in a solo, it’s about 100,000 damn … things! Close the door!” More expletives followed, along with the outraged cries of the mother who only wanted to help.
A recording of the scene was even shared by the developers:
Brutal Battle for 100,000 USD!
What kind of tournament was it? Lenun’s brusque response can be somewhat understood, considering that this was the so-called “YOLO Tournament.” In this tournament, the prize money is not distributed among the top players as usual, but the full 100,000 dollars goes to the winner. The rest gets nothing!
Did the mother’s advice help? Unfortunately not, as even though Lenun certainly trusted his gut, it wasn’t enough in the end. Lenun couldn’t hold out till the end, and the victory in the Yolo tournament went to the Frenchman Chowh1_, who won the 100,000 $ with a crazy shield-shotgun setup. And this, despite the fact that bugs plague the shield.
What were the reactions to the event? As entertaining as the event was, it sparked criticism among some users on Twitter. The mother only meant well, and what kind of ungrateful brat was Lenun to talk to his mother that way?
Lenun was also aware of this, and subsequently tweeted on Twitter:
“If you think I’m disrespectful towards my mother, you have to consider this. My mom and I have a good relationship, and I would never be disrespectful to her.”
This explanation calmed the emotions, and people congratulated Lenun for his cool mom who cheers alongside him. It was even suggested that the two should form a team and rock Warzone in duo mode.
