In Borderlands 3, a new update comes this Thursday evening. This improves the gunner Moze even further – and brings new events.
When is the new update coming? The new update goes live as usual on Thursday evening in the form of a new hotfix. The update should be active by 9:00 PM. Just wait until the “Hotfixes Applied” sign appears in your main menu.
Strong chests & powerful Moze in the update
Update brings new event: With the new update, the overarching loot event continues. The Slot Machine Mania and Trials Take-All events will end this evening, but two new ones will come into play.
- Rare Chest Riches players already know from January. Here, better chests lure with more legendary weapons.
- Loot Monster Mayhem. This brings more loot enemies, such as Loot-Tinks, into play.
Both events will again end in a week, on April 16th. Then there will likely be new events that will bring you more loot.
Moze will be more powerful: After the developers of the gunner Moze already provided some buffs last week, they are stepping it up this week. Once again, the developers are improving skills that make Moze more dangerous and resilient at the same time. This affects:
- Explosive punctuation: The cooldown will be increased by 8%
- Hammerdown Protocol: Damage will be increased to 600% and improves the reload time
- Click, Click…: The damage bonuses will be increased
- Specialist Bear: The damage is increased from +25% to +60%
Additionally, the weapons of the Iron Bear will be equipped with more damage. Overall, Moze will become significantly stronger – which is well received in the community.
On Reddit, Moze fans are excited about the improvements.

- “I can’t wait to try Moze and Iron Bear with the new damage,” says user Flavio-GM (via Reddit).
- “These are the Moze buffs I’ve been waiting for. Iron Bear could really become useful on Mayhem 4 now, and with the Click Click skill, Moze can deal a lot more damage,” says user cole5754 (via Reddit).
Moze will overall be more powerful than before. This will also make powerful builds at max level even stronger. This will also be necessary – because in mid-April, the newly rolled out “Mayhem 2.0” mode is supposed to make the game even harder.
