Borderlands 3 gets its first major story DLC. We present to you 11 new legendary weapons and 4 class mods that a player leaked on Reddit. They supposedly come with the new DLC.
This is what the DLC is about: In the story expansion, your path leads you to the completely new map “Handsome Jackpot”. This is a huge casino that Handsome Jack built while he was still alive.
Here you can, of course, indulge in gambling , but you also have a mission. You are supposed to rob the place, as the title of the DLC “Moxxi’s Heist of The Handsome Jackpot” reveals. You will shoot your way through some opponents as usual. You can already check out how that looks in the first gameplay video.
When does the DLC start? The 1st DLC for Borderlands 3 launches on December 19. After the introduction of Mayhem 4 and Maliwan Takedown, this story expansion is the next major content patch.
If you own the season pass or the super deluxe edition, you will automatically have the DLC. Otherwise, you can of course purchase it separately.
11 new legendary weapons leaked
On Reddit, the player CREmACquesOM shared a post in which he shows 11 new legendary weapons from the first major DLC. They supposedly entered the game files with the last patch a few days ago. He also shares screenshots of each individual item.
These are the 11 weapons that Reddit expects you:

- Potent Nukem
- Cash-Infused Viral Heart Breaker
- Dueling Lucky 7
- Shredded Craps
- Shredded Creamer
- Shocking Tactical AutoAimè
- Powerhouse Cheap Tips
- Stark ION LASER
- Searing Relentless Boomer
- Subsidized Slow Hand
Players of previous titles may recognize some of the firearms. There are cool gems from the barmaid Moxxi. You already know the weapons Heart Breaker, Creamer, and Slow Hand from Borderlands 2. In the third part of the series, these weapons are also supposed to grant you health while shooting.
Also 4 new legendary class mods included
In addition to the 11 weapons, the post by CREmACquesOM also describes 4 new class mods. That makes one for each of the 4 Vault Hunters.
According to Reddit, Zane’s mod has a 5% chance to proc. For FL4K, the leak is a bit older. His class mod could already be admired in the gameplay video of the DLC. With this new item, FL4K’s critical damage is boosted, which guarantees high damage numbers for some builds.
Ultimately, we must wait to see which legendary items await us on December 19. But there are only a few days left, and then it will show whether the new weapons can replace some of the old favorites.
