The next patch for Borderlands 3 is coming. Besides many minor changes, Gearbox finally fixes a serious bug: The Guardian Ranks are working again.
When will the patch arrive? The new patch will be deployed tonight and is expected to be active before midnight. You will know it is active when the main menu displays the message “Hotfixes Applied.” To check this, you just need to stay in the main menu for a few minutes once the patch is active.
This is what’s in the patch – Guardian Ranks are back!
This is the most important fix: Unfortunately, a bug crept in with the Maliwan Takedown update: The Guardian Ranks were broken. As a result, some endgame builds suddenly became much weaker than before.
The new patch now brings a fix that should make the Guardian Ranks work again. But there’s more in the new update.
This also comes with the patch: Besides the Guardian Ranks, Borderlands 3 has introduced support for the Handsome Jack DLC into the game. The DLC goes live on December 19 – from then on you can play it.
In addition, further bugs have been fixed. Among other things, there are now new vending machines on Skywell-27 and you can now skip the intro video. The following fixes have also been implemented:
- Several stability issues have been resolved
- The performance of the inventory has been improved
- Visual bugs have been fixed
- Issues that made progress in some missions difficult have been eliminated
- The patch fixes fast travel issues, such as to Sanctuary III
- Some faulty skills of Zane, Amara, and Moze have been corrected
- You can no longer access photo mode in “Fight for Your Life Mode”
Additionally, there is a long list of other gameplay and performance points that the patch improves. If you want to see the complete list, you can find it in full here.
The game should become a bit better with the patch. And this feature could also help Borderlands 3 further – or?
