After the release on September 13, 2019, you can look forward to the following contents this year.
2 Free Updates
The Bloody Harvest Event: The first content drop is a limited-time event with a Halloween theme. Although there is no date for it yet, fans expect this event in October – as Halloween is on October 31, 2019.
The content is free for all players and is supposed to bring spooky activities and event-specific rewards.
Maliwan Takedown: Later in the year, there will be another free content update for all players in the form of Maliwan Takedown. On paper, it appears to be bigger than the previous Halloween event.
It is expected to include a new map with new challenging enemies and a boss never seen before. Powerful weapons and other new rewards will also come into play then.
DLC for Season Pass Owners
DLC 1: Before the year 2019 ends, Borderlands 3 will also receive its first of four paid story DLCs. The exact name of DLC 1 is not yet known.
This is expected to continue the story from the campaign. Those who have the Season Pass can play the DLC at no additional cost. More details will follow.
