In Borderlands 3, the Christmas season has arrived. What do the holidays bring? Definitely some Shift Codes!
This is the current Christmas event in Borderlands 3: In the world of Borderlands, not Christmas is celebrated, but “Mercenary Day”. Accordingly, there is currently the “Gift of Mayhem” for players. But what exactly is that?
If you’re expecting a holiday event like Bloody Harvest, the Halloween event, you’ll be searching in vain. The “Gift of Mayhem” is, first and foremost, a week full of gifts in the form of Shift Codes.

Will there be a bigger Christmas event?
So much Christmas is currently in Borderlands 3: In the game itself, there isn’t much happening in terms of Christmas. Only the main menu has been slightly decorated since the last patch. Will there be more?
In the community, some players hope for a slightly bigger event for Christmas. After all, Halloween also had its own event. Reddit user xTEKNIKLx hoped for an event where you could face “Traunt-a-Clause” – a Christmas version of Captain Traunt.
However, in the past weeks since release with Bloody Harvest, Maliwan Takedown and Mayhem 4 there has been a lot happening. So it’s possible that no bigger action will follow for Christmas.
Additionally, the new DLC is also coming. And it is likely to provide plenty of content. Some weapons also seem to be already known:
