This abbreviation stands for Vault Insider Program and is meant to get you really excited about the loot shooter and its crazy weapons.
Collecting Points as a Borderlands VIP
What is Insider VIP? It is a system where you can earn points to receive cool rewards. You can earn these points through advertisements and Shift codes, for example. We explain where to find these codes further down in the article.
How do I sign up for VIP? To become a member of this point system, you need to create a Shift account. You can do this easily via the Borderlands homepage itself.

If you click the login button, you can quickly create an account; it’s all free. Once you have verified your age, you can view your profile.
By registering, you have already unlocked the welcome package. Here you can get rare grenade and shield mods as well as cosmetics for your weapon.
Why do I need a Shift account? You need the Shift account to receive the rewards in-game. And it’s worth it, because through this you can get many golden keys in Borderlands 3 for extra loot.

How do I redeem the VIP codes? To redeem your codes, you need to go to the Borderlands homepage and go to Insider or Shift and select “Redeem Code” there.
Here you will see various options and need to select what type of code you want to enter. Most of them will be vault codes or email codes.
Shift codes for golden keys. On this page you can also enter the Shift codes. For these codes, you get golden keys in Borderlands 3 and earlier titles. However, these Shift codes can also be entered at the start screen of the games.
Where can I see my points and possible rewards? You can see your points on your profile. For this, go to Insider or Shift and then to Profile. After viewing your points, you can quickly continue to the rewards for your VIP points. There are head skins, clothing skins, and wallpapers for Borderlands 3 to snag.
