In Borderlands 3, some bonuses will remain available longer than expected. This pleases many players.
This is the event: Currently, alongside the Bloody Harvest Event, the fourth week of the Anniversary Event is also running: Mayhem on Twitch. This brought some bonuses in Mayhem mode, but it was supposed to end today.
These bonuses were available: In Mayhem mode, players received an increased drop chance for anointed weapons. Additionally, the negative modifiers in Mayhem mode were weakened and players earned more experience points.
Two bonuses remain – much to the delight of the players
What the players liked: After the event week about Eridium received mixed reactions, players were happy about the majority of anointed weapons. The easier Mayhem mode was also well received – after all, some enemies are really hard to defeat with too many modifiers .
Gearbox announced: On Twitter, Gearbox stated that they noticed the positive reactions from players. Therefore, the developers decided to keep both the Mayhem modifiers and the increased chance for anointed weapons for the time being.
Only the additional experience points will be disabled as planned. Gearbox has not set a deadline for these bonuses yet: “Things might change again in the future, but we will definitely leave it this way for now.”
This is how the players react: Players can therefore collect more anointed weapons than before throughout today. The reactions to the announcement on Twitter are very positive. “This is great news,” says one user: “A 100 percent positive change. Keep it up!” The remaining replies are similarly positive.
