In Borderlands 3 there is a new hotfix available. This continues the “Loot the Universe” event and addresses two issues.
This is the hotfix: The new hotfix went live on Thursday evening, May 7. Whether it is already active for you can be seen by the “Hotfixes Applied” sign that pops up after a few seconds in the main menu.
The new hotfix is comparatively small this week. There are no changes to balancing or completely new content.
However, the hotfix still ensures that you are provided with better loot.
Hotfix corrects Mayhem 2.0, continues Loot Event
This is what the hotfix addresses: After Borderlands 3 remodeled its entire endgame with the Mayhem 2.0 Update, some bugs occurred. Some of these were already addressed last week. However, everything does not seem to be resolved yet.
The current hotfix addresses loot issues at the different Mayhem levels. Because at times, the chaos levels dropped too weak weapons – this was particularly criticized by players at levels Mayhem 7 to 10.
With the new hotfix, the drop rate is supposed to be corrected. This should make excursions to the hardest levels of the chaos mode worthwhile again.
Additionally, loot sometimes simply fell off the map when defeating Graveward with an active Giant Head modifier. This should no longer happen.
Here “Loot the Universe” continues: After initially taking place on Pandora and then on Promethea, the “Loot the Universe” event now continues on Eden-6. For one week, there is now extra loot here, which is distributed across the different zones of the planet depending on the type of weapon.
At the same time, the cartel revenge event continues. In this, you can continue to lay waste to Joey Ultraviolet’s villa – a quest that MyMMO author Jürgen Horn has particularly enjoyed lately.
