Farming legendary weapons – here’s how
Legendary weapons – the location: The spot described by several players – for example on Reddit – is especially worthwhile in the endgame. This is the Jakob estate.
Here you will find a so-called Loot Tink. The enemies known as “loot goblins” in older Borderlands installments appear more frequently in Borderlands 3.

These are Loot Tinks in Borderlands 3: The Loot Tinks carry a backpack that you can open once you have defeated the Tink.
In these bags, you will find powerful items such as weapons or shields. Legendary weapons can also be included.

This is what makes the spot special: At the estate, a Loot Tink appears every time – at least currently. Even after you respawn, you will find a Loot Tink there again.
Since there is a respawn point just a few meters in front of the mentioned spot, you only need seconds to encounter a Loot Tink after a fast travel. Defeat him, collect the weapons, respawn, and repeat the process.
This is the role of the endgame: After completing the story, you can start the Mayhem Mode. This introduces random elements and various difficulty levels. The higher the difficulty, the better the rewards.
Many players who have grabbed the legendary weapons played at Mayhem level 3. Some also obtained good weapons at level 2. The spot can best be exploited in the endgame.
How long will there be legendary weapons at this location? It is currently completely open whether the guaranteed Loot Tink at the Jakob estate will remain in the game. Many players expect that it will soon be patched out – after all, the weapon source undermines the purpose of the endgame.
You should also consider whether you really want to exploit this path. After all, a rain of legendary weapons is not necessarily beneficial for long-term motivation if you are aiming to find the best guns in the endgame.
