In Fortnite, you now find a new Rift Zone that brings you into the world of Borderlands 3. It also has a big impact on your gameplay.
What is Pandora? This is actually an area from Borderlands 3, a coop shooter that will be released in September. However, this location has been available on the map in Fortnite since the Patch 10.20. A new Rift Zone makes it possible.
Entering this Rift Zone located in the southeastern part of the Map transforms everything into the style of Borderlands. The complete graphics are different. In addition to graphical changes, this Rift Zone also brings other gameplay mechanics with it.
What’s in the Rift Zone Pandora?
What conditions prevail there? Inside the Rift Zone, you quickly receive new shields. Once you are not in combat for 4 seconds, your shield refills automatically. You don’t need any items for this.
What can you find from Borderlands? Within the Rift Zone, there are many details that are known from Borderlands. For example, there is Claptrap, the cute robot, who stands there.
Additionally, you can acquire new skins that are tied to Borderlands.
Are these changes game-changing? This new Rift Zone at least allows you to quickly refill your shield. However, it will not have a huge impact on the overall game.
After all, the zone is shrinking, and if it’s not directly within the Rift Zone, players quickly will not benefit from the special conditions.
