What was leaked? Players are currently counting the hours until the announcement of the release date for Borderlands 3. This was announced today, April 3rd at 3:00 PM. During this hot phase, the leaks also intensified.

How the developers reacted to the tweet: The official Borderlands 3 Twitter account responded directly to the tweet. As expected, the team shows humor in this case as well. The Borderlands series is known for that.
However, they did not want to directly confirm the leak or label it as fake. Instead, they wrote “How are you doing, dear gamers? This looks really good. I think we should all tune in tomorrow at 3 PM to see if it’s real.”
They also posted a picture of a Psycho wearing a fake nose and glasses as a “disguise”.
