The first Shift Codes for 3 golden keys in Borderlands 3 have been released. In this guide, we explain everything you need to know about the codes and their use.
What are these keys? On September 13, Borderlands 3 will launch. You will be able to shoot through desolate areas again with crazy weapons. To start well in the third part of the loot shooter, you can organize golden keys (golden keys) via Shift Codes.
With these, you can then draw rare or even legendary items (mostly weapons, because Borderlands) from a chest in the game.
How do I get golden keys? You secure the golden keys through Shift Codes. This system already existed in the old parts and continues in Borderlands 3. For that, you first need a Shift account.
Codes for great rewards in Borderlands 3
What are Shift Codes? Shift Codes are 25-character combinations of numbers and letters. You can redeem these to claim cool rewards for one of the Borderlands titles.
How do I get Shift Codes? The easiest way to get Shift Codes is to follow collecting sites. A good tip for this is on Twitter.

How do I redeem Shift Codes for Borderlands 3? You can enter your Shift Codes via your browser or directly in the game. For that, you either need to log in with your Shift account or the login data of your platform on the Shift homepage. There, you can enter your codes under the “Rewards” tab. The Shift Code does not work on the VIP page at borderlands.com.
After that, you still need to select the game for which you want to redeem the codes. In your case, that should be Borderlands 3. Of course, it is also possible to enter the Shift Codes for older titles. However, keep in mind that you can only enter each code once per account.
If you are only shown the option for Borderlands 2, you will need to link your account with your platform.
You can also redeem your Shift Codes directly in the game. If you have already acquired Borderlands 3, you can enter your codes in the game as well. You just need to go to the appropriate Shift option in the start menu.
Now you just have to make your way to the golden chest in the game and turn the keys into great loot!
What about the golden keys from older titles? Unfortunately, we do not currently have a way for you to transfer your golden keys. So if you have collected 200 golden keys in Borderlands 2, you will not be able to enter them in Borderlands 3.
What is a Shift account? All rewards via Shift Codes or VIP points run through a Shift account in Borderlands. So if you do not have one yet, you can sign up on the Borderlands homepage or directly at Shift.
How to secure even more loot
Rewards through VIP points in Borderlands 3. There is another way to get cool rewards through your Shift account. This works through VIP points. You can find them in the same places as your Shift Codes and must enter them on the Borderlands homepage.
