The anime MMORPG Blue Protocol is set to be released worldwide in 2023. Network tests are coming soon in Japan, but what about a global beta?
Due to a problem, the developers Bandai Namco could not conduct the Japanese network tests as planned in January, but postponed them to March 31.
Waiting for the closed beta
There will also be global tests: Currently, you can sign up for the closed beta on the Blue Protocol website. You log in with your Amazon account and will receive an email when it’s time.
However, the website does not provide more information on the topic. We only know that there will be a closed beta, for which you can currently register. As soon as there are news about it, we will update this post.

What kind of game is this? Blue Protocol is a free-to-play anime MMORPG currently being developed by Bandai Namco. The publisher’s role in the West is taken on by Amazon.
You choose from 5 classes and create your character to dive into an engaging, fully voiced story. The MMORPG focuses entirely on PvE, with no PvP planned.
The developers promise an action-packed combat system, featuring dungeons and raids in the endgame that you will tackle together with your group.
Fans worry about the release
Blue Protocol is expected to be released in the second half of 2023, so relatively soon. When the tests in Japan were postponed, fans started discussing in a thread on the MMORPG’s subreddit.
Many worry about the release and think it might be delayed until 2024. “RIP, I can already see the NA/EU release in 2024,” writes a user in the comments, and others agree.
