A new package of “BlizzCon Goodies” for various games is causing a stir. We reveal what you get for a proud €50 that Blizzard would like from you.
The BlizzCon 2023 is only a few weeks away. Unlike the usual routine of Blizzard’s trade fair, it is free this year – at least in the digital version. Anyone who wants can comfortably follow all the streams from home and stay updated on the news about World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone and Warcraft Rumble – all broadcasts are freely accessible.
However, you can still spend a decent amount of money this year to get a little more from the BlizzCon. Because if you want the usual “digital goodie package,” you have to pay €30 for the small version or €50 for the large one.
What’s included in both collections? Depending on which of the two packages you buy, there are different items. Generally, the €50 package contains everything, while with the €30 package, you forgo the “biggest” items.
Epic Package: BlizzCon Collection
For the epic package and a purchase price of €30, you get the following items:
- World of Warcraft: Pet “Ysergle”
- World of Warcraft: Toy “Frosty Celebration Banner”
- Diablo IV: Mount “Lapisader”
- Diablo IV: Mount trophy “Cobalt Flag”
- Diablo IV: Mount trophy “Demon Mother’s Visage”

Legendary Package: BlizzCon Collection
If you choose the legendary version of the package and pay €50, you get all the rewards from the epic package. Additionally, you receive:
- World of Warcraft: Flying mount “Tamed Blizzard”
- Diablo IV: Mount armor “Midnight Plate”
- Diablo IV: Premium Battle Pass
- Overwatch 2: Premium Battle Pass of Season 7
- Overwatch 2: Epic Skin “Drowned Warrior” for Sigma
- Hearthstone: Mysterious distinct legendary card
- Warcraft Rumble: Skin “Murloc Tower”
Are all items immediately available? No. Some of the listed items are not immediately unlocked in the respective games. While the rewards in World of Warcraft are available right away, the cosmetics in “Warcraft Rumble” will logically only be available after the game’s release in November. Also, the legendary distinct Hearthstone card will only be revealed at the beginning of November and will only be available in the game from mid-November.
Is the BlizzCon Collection worth it? In the end, everyone has to decide that for themselves. However, it can generally be said: The more Blizzard games you actively play, the better the offer. If you actively play Overwatch 2, Diablo IV, and Hearthstone, then the two Battle Passes and the 10 card packs are a solid purchase argument for many.
If you consider all the items in the collections and think about what they would have as a single price in the various games, it is mathematically a good deal – provided you also play most of the games and value such items.
Ultimately, however, most items are mere cosmetics. Whether €30 or even €50 is worth it, you have to judge for yourself.
