If you like Murlocs, this year’s BlizzCon has cool pets for you. But there are also awesome rewards waiting in the other games.
The BlizzCon attracts not only thousands of players to America every year but also countless others to their screens who watch Blizzard’s showcase via livestream. Every year, updates for World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Overwatch, and all other Blizzard games are presented.
Double Murloc and Classic Diablo
Those who are present live or watch via the stream (and thus own a “Virtual Ticket”) receive several bonuses that can be redeemed in the various games each year.
Blizzard has now announced what goodies there are for the year 2016.
Players of World of Warcraft receive two Murlocs. The “Wrathbringer Murky” and “Cavalry Murky” – either in red or blue, so both Alliance and Horde have their own Murloc (see title image).
Overwatch players can look forward to an exclusive skin for the Omnic Bastion, which now haunts the battlefields in the typical Blizzard colors.
Also in Diablo 3, there is a “new” pet that should remind veterans of many nights spent playing. The little Diablo is visually based on the first version of the base game.
For card fans of Hearthstone, there is an exclusive card back “Welcome to the Tavern,” which captures the typical flair of the in-game tavern.
Friends of Blizzard’s MOBA, Heroes of the Storm, also receive a special mount this year. The Nexus Tiger carries all heroes safely into battle (but only winners back out).
Only the rewards for StarCraft 2 have yet to be revealed. As Blizzard is currently considering new DLCs with emotes and skins, something like that could be on the horizon for fans – but we’ll have to wait and see.
