World of Warcraft: Classic is coming soon. However, Blizzard is already considering the expansions Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King.
With the release of World of Warcraft: Classic, a long-held dream comes true for many fans. After a long wait, they will finally be able to experience the “Vanilla” experience of World of Warcraft again and rediscover Azeroth. However, with the implementation of this plan, new questions arise. What about the first expansions “The Burning Crusade” and “Wrath of the Lich King”?
Reviving several WoW expansions would be possible: In recent days, Blizzard has given several interviews from which it is clear that they are open to a re-release of “The Burning Crusade” or other expansions. Although it would take a lot of time again, with WoW: Classic, they have now proven that it is definitely possible.

What are the prerequisites? However, whether Blizzard will actually release the other expansions depends mainly on the demand and success of WoW: Classic. J. Allen Brack said in an interview with Forbes:
“If [WoW: Classic] is very successful and played by many people interested in it and a “call for the next thing” develops, then that would be something we would talk about.
We now definitely have the opportunity to do it in a way that we didn’t have before. That is something that has now become possible. Whether we do it or not really depends on the interest of the fans and their reactions.”
When asked directly whether there is a possibility that there could be servers for Classic, Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King, Brack added:
“Yes. I don’t want to downplay the effort or the time required for it. This is not something we could just turn on or off easily. But assuming we have a successful “Classic,” we will see what the future brings.”
In summary, Blizzard will only consider further addons if the demand is right and Classic is deemed a success.
That remains to be seen.
