Is there a special offer coming for WoW Classic players? The Brazilian Facebook account of WoW posted that players who reach level 60 in Classic will receive the expansion Battle for Azeroth and a level 110 boost for a character. However, the post has since been deleted.
What kind of offer is this? The Brazilian Facebook account of World of Warcraft recently highlighted a special offer. Players who reach level 60 in WoW Classic would receive the latest retail expansion Battle for Azeroth and a booster that takes a character to level 110.

Why is this a good offer? Blizzard would hit two birds with one stone here: they can capitalize on the current popularity of Classic to fill the servers of the retail version with new players.
Additionally, Classic and Retail already share a subscription. New players returning to Azeroth with Classic might find the offer a good entry point into the current World of Warcraft.

What’s the catch? A few hours after the post went live on Facebook, it was deleted again. The players on WoW Reddit however, believe in the authenticity of the offer. They think it might be that the Facebook post accidentally went live too early and was therefore deleted.
Players see the whole operation as a clever move by Blizzard. Some people might keep their subscription just to grab Battle for Azeroth. Other players state that they would likely play both Classic and Retail. Especially because they could exchange gold for tokens and thus finance their subscription.
The first player reached level 60 in Classic last Friday:
