On the official job postings on the Blizzard career website, there is now the opportunity to apply as a Game Director for a currently unannounced Diablo project. The job description is looking for an employee “who will lead the Diablo franchise into the future.”

Can we look forward to a new Diablo game?
So far, it is not clearly evident what this project is about in detail. A few months ago, they were looking for employees for Diablo 2, which recently received the first new patch since 2011. Possibly, the job posting is also for a remastered version of Diablo 1 or Diablo 2.

In most cases, Blizzard does not provide specific information or teasers about new games until the game is nearly “finished,” so we should be excited about what this unannounced project has in store for us.
