Diablo 4 is soon celebrating its first anniversary – it was released on June 6, 2023. On this occasion, the “March of the Goblins” event takes place in the game. During this time, more treasure goblins are roaming around – and they have more loot for you to take from them.
Additionally, there are more shrines that provide you with bonuses, and on top of that, you’ll receive more XP and gold. You can especially use the gold for a new crafting system, because upgrading is quite “expensive,” even though the developers recently reduced costs.

When is the event taking place? The “March of the Goblins” will take place from June 6 to June 13 in Diablo 4. During this time, various bonuses will make leveling easier for you and grant you gold. Additionally, there are cosmetic rewards in the shop that you can claim.
What rewards can I expect? In Diablo 4, during the “March of the Goblins” event, you can “claim a cosmetic gift in the shop.” (Source: Blizzard). You have until June 20 to pick up the gifts.
Additionally, there’s loot that you get while playing. Between June 6 and June 13, more treasure goblins will be roaming around Sanctuary. They may appear in dungeons in pairs, but also in larger groups. The “Shrines of Greed” will also appear more frequently, thus increasing the wealth you can take from the goblins.
How can I level up faster? The second part of the “March of the Goblins” event is a anniversary version of the “Blessing of the Mother.” The version of the blessing is active for 10 days and grants you according to Blizzard:
- 25% more experience
- 50% more gold
In the game itself, however, both are indicated as 35%. The bonuses are not only multiplicative but also stackable. You can combine them with elixirs and the Urn of Aggression to level even faster. According to Blizzard, this bonus applies to both Seasonal and Eternal Realms as well as all World Tiers.

Various Activities for the Anniversary in Diablo Immortal
What’s happening in Diablo Immortal? The “March of the Goblins” event is also taking place in Diablo Immortal to celebrate its second anniversary. From June 6 to June 20, you will be richly rewarded for killing treasure goblins and completing activities.
During this time, you secure crafting materials, gold, legendary items, and the cosmetic portal “Glorious Twilight.” By participating in anniversary events, you’ll complete weekly tasks. When logging in during the anniversary, you’ll receive the cosmetic avatar frame “Fading Cycle.”
In the “Plunder Trial,” you open treasure chests, and treasure goblins appear during the match, dropping loot. In the boss fight “Cursed Goliath,” you fight against Knorzer from Diablo 4. For your first daily victory over the boss, you receive a legendary item.
From June 6 to June 13, the “Goblin Plunder” occurs. The buff is active for 36 gameplay hours and runs only while you are online. For the following game content, you will receive 200 % of the rewards:
