The Blizzard Agent is inactive and causing issues in Battle.Net. Players are now fearing that they will miss the start of Season 20 in Diablo 3 if there are errors and disconnections. What does Blizzard say?
Update – 21:30: At 20:45, Blizzard announced via Twitter that they have resolved the issue. You should now have no problems logging into BattleNet.
What is the problem? Some players are reporting that they have issues in Battle Net. Some cannot log into games like WoW or Call of Duty. Warzone at all. The error message “Blizzard Agent inactive” greets them in the software (Blizzard agent went to sleep).
On Twitter, @blizzardcseu_de, the German customer support for the software users, reports that they are aware of the issues.
What does Blizzard say? They first wrote at 13:32 on March 13th, that they are investigating a problem with the authentication servers. This could lead to slow or failed login attempts.
However, a solution has not yet been found. Even at 16:10, the issues persist. Blizzard states that they are working hard on a solution.
They also apologize for the disruptions caused.
