At the end of July, Bless Online developer Neowiz will merge all existing servers. Players are looking forward to this, hoping for a greater number of fellow players. Neowiz has announced the exact rules by which the merger will take place.
The server merge is coming
When? July 24, exact time to be announced
Which characters are affected? All characters created before July 24 will be transferred to the new servers.
Server merge in Europe: In Europe, the existing seven servers will be merged into two new servers. It will still be possible to play characters in both factions after the merge.
The servers Physis and KuatRan will be merged into the new EU server Bacillas.

If you are playing on the servers Daimon, Ventus, Ermekis, Baraka, or Melacazeus, you will move along with your fellow players to the EU server Iriaphos.
Server merge in North America: The existing eight servers will be merged into two new servers.
Tanara, Habicht, Sforza, and Deblahyim will merge into the new NA server Hilan.
Liyanthes, Murabi, Chinuwa, and Gagato will be connected to the NA server Kairos.
What will happen to your characters
Are characters no longer faction-bound? In Bless Online, players can only join one faction per server. Character creation is then limited to the faction you chose at the beginning. If you have created characters of different factions on the merged servers, you will only be able to play characters from one faction.

The characters of the other faction will be deactivated. Upon deactivation, the characters will not be deleted but will remain available to you. You can request activation. At that time, the characters of the respective other faction will be deactivated. You can find out which characters will remain active from the prioritization list below.
What happens if I created more than four characters? If you have created more characters than the new server has slots, excess characters will be deactivated. If you purchased server slots on one of the old servers, these will be added to the new server.

If players have fewer than four characters across all merged servers, all characters will simply be transferred to the new server.
Prioritization list: All your characters will receive a value indicating their prioritization.
- Priority: Characters that are guild leaders
- Priority: Characters with a high level
- Priority: Characters that were last actively played
Not everyone will be able to keep their character name
What happens to my character name? If another character has the same character name, your name will be temporarily changed.

The first priority goes to names of characters created before June 26 and actively played between June 26 and July 24. If another player with the same name as you does not log in during this time, you can keep your name. Otherwise, both players must change it as soon as they log in. The player who changes their name first can then keep the original name.
Second priority goes to names of characters created after June 26. If your name overlaps with an existing name before June 26, you must change your name. On the new server, your character will receive a temporary name consisting of the original name and a number.

To change your name, you will receive a free name change. If you do not change your name, you will not be able to connect to the game with this character.
What happens if another guild has the same name? If two guilds have the same name, there is also a list that defines who may keep their name.

- Priority: The guild with the higher level may keep its name.
- Priority: If both guilds have the same level, the guild that was created earlier may keep its name.
- Priority: If neither of the above rules works, both guilds having the same level and created on the same day, both guilds will receive temporary names. The guild name may be changed by the guild leader.
All gold will end up on one server
What happens to my gold? The gold from all merged servers will be combined on the newly created server. If players on servers 1 and 2 each have 2 gold, they will have 4 gold on the new server.
What happens to inventory slots? Your purchased inventory expansions will be transferred to the new server. However, if a character with an expanded inventory is deactivated, the inventory expansions will be converted to Lumena and credited to the character on the server with the highest level.

What happens to purchased Lumena and items? If your character has acquired Lumena but is deactivated, you will receive a message via the postal system attached to your Lumena. Costume items and items from the “Extended Function” tab from the Special Currency Shop will be converted to Lumena and also delivered to you via the postal system.
How is this received by the players?
Previously separated players can play together. At the start of the early access of Bless Online, the faction selection was restricted on almost all servers. Many more players wanted to fight on the side of the Union. Therefore, players, although they had purchased Bless, could not play together on the same server.
The server merger will thus bring formerly separated players together.

No free choice of servers. Some players would like to choose which of the two new servers they will end up on. Neowiz has probably decided against this to keep player numbers relatively equal on both servers.
A server merger is necessary
Declining player numbers. In many newly launched MMORPGs, player numbers decline after the first few weeks. Hardcore players have already reached the maximum level, and there is not really much to do anymore.
According to SteamDB, almost 7000 players log in daily to Bless. These 7000 players are spread over more than 15 servers in North America and Europe. Hopefully, the merger will fill the rather empty servers with players again.
