Neowiz has released the patch notes for Patch v1.0.0.8. These changes are expected by the players of Bless Online.
Why was the class balance adjusted? Shortly after Bless Online launched in Early Access, some players complained that the game was too easy. Monsters and players would die far too quickly, and the gameplay just didn’t feel right.
In response, Neowiz released Patch v.1.0.0.4, which reduced the damage of all classes, increased their health points, and lowered the mana costs of abilities.

A little too well-intentioned: However, with Patch v.1.0.0.4, issues arose. The early game had become unplayable for some classes, as monsters were taking too much damage. Classes that did not focus on damage were particularly affected. The patch was released on June 1, 2018.
Patch addresses player criticism
Only a few days have passed since the last patch, yet Neowiz has already implemented a new patch. Patch v1.0.0.8 addresses some of the players’ concerns.
- Leveling between level 11 to 13 should feel better. Some quests can now be started earlier and they grant more experience points.
- The health points of open world monsters have been reduced.
- Level 1-15: by -30%
- Level 16-40: by -25%
- Level 41 and above: by -20%
- The health points of monsters in dungeons have been reduced by 20%. This affects the dungeons Guiscard Hideout, Sleeping Scale Remains, Balmont Dungeon, Mausoleum of the Wise Ones.
- The damage bonus from combo chains has been increased. You now receive a damage bonus from a 2-hit combo, and it is overall higher.

Additionally, Neowiz is changing the abilities of some classes.
Guardian:
- The ability “Shield Upper Swing” now has a cooldown of 15 seconds.
- The ability “Draw Sword” now has a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Berserker:
- Players gain 10% more “Anger” when they successfully execute the last ability in a chain.
- The modified “Rampage Tactic” stance now sets the cooldown of the “Assault” ability to 10 seconds.

Ranger:
- The ability “Steady Concentration” and the way it can be modified have been adjusted.
- The ability “Dodge Move” and the way it can be modified have been adjusted.
- The modified chain bonus time has been increased from 2 seconds to 5 seconds.
Wizard:
- In the “Cold Tactic” stance, the cooldown of the combo starter “Biting Cold” has been increased from 0 to 7 seconds.
- The cooldown of the ability “Thunderbolt” in the “Atmospheric Tactic” stance has been increased from 0 to 7 seconds.
Big Plans for the Future
The upcoming changes: Neowiz has also commented on future adjustments. The chain bonuses should only be interrupted if the player misses with an ability.
Currently, the combo chain is interrupted if an ability misses, the opponent dodges, resists, or is immune. However, since players can only influence their hit rate, only missing should lead to a combo break.

When will the action camera come? Neowiz also comments on the announced action camera. They found that all classes, except for the Berserker, are not optimally controllable with the camera during development.
Therefore, they want to fine-tune the camera but are currently focusing on stabilization and balance. They will provide fans with more information once they can estimate when the action camera will find its way into the game.
Neowiz wants the action camera to be activatable for all classes except the Paladin.
The Community’s Mood is Shifting
This is what the community thinks: In recent days, the mood of the Bless community has shifted. They are trying to give Neowiz constructive feedback and are pleased with the developer’s open communication. With the patch, Neowiz has also nerfed the wizard, which many players view positively. In recent days, wizards have jumped through Bless Online and spammed the ability “Biting Cold” of the “Cold Tactic” stance while completely ignoring the combo system.

Where many negative comments dominated at launch, the mood is now more positive and hopeful.
