The Korean next-gen MMO Bless Online has found a publisher for the Chinese market. For some observers, Bless Online is among the major Eastern MMO hopes alongside Blade & Soul and Black Desert.
After recently Bless Online received a hefty funding boost – an investor injected considerable capital – there is now more good news for the MMO with stunning graphics, a PvP focus, and a seamless world without loading screens: With ChangYou, an excellent publisher for the Chinese market has been secured.
ChangYou took over the Chinese port of Blade & Soul last year and achieved great successes here. More than 1,500,000 units were sold, according to figures from January. For Bless Online, an even greater success is anticipated.
And who knows what the developers at Neowizz Games can do with such a well-filled war chest. Many fans here in the West, of course, hope for a port to our lands, but that is likely to remain music of the future for the foreseeable time.
Bless is developed with the Unreal 3 engine. The game is worked on by the “NeowizzBless” team, which consists of 150 people, including some MMO veterans who have previously worked on Tera, Aion, or Lineage 2.
