The brand-new MMORPG Bless is currently stirring up a lot of emotions. The game is full of bugs, lacks promised content, and provokes with ridiculous cash shop features. As a result, many players are extremely upset and demand refunds on Steam.
The Western version of the Korean MMORPG Bless has been in development for years and has been eagerly awaited here. Now Bless has been released, and the joy is turning into anger and rage for many players. The game is not functioning at launch as it probably should and frustrates with all sorts of strange occurrences.
This has triggered a massive wave of refunds on Steam.
Bless launch full of problems
Since the head start on May 28th, there have been several issues in Bless. The site Massivelyop has compiled a summary of the annoyances reported by players on Reddit and elsewhere:
- Players could only join the Hieron faction because the Union faction was too popular
- The performance is poor
- No arenas and battlegrounds for PvP
- No ranking system in PvP
- Bugs in the honor system
- The main PvP map Basel Canyon is completely empty
- You cannot level up beyond level 45
- Only two endgame dungeons
- No daily dungeons
- You are prompted to buy a cash shop item when you want to travel to a dungeon
- A dupe exploit has reportedly occurred, which could potentially lead to a rollback
Reviews in the basement, Steam refunding costs
All these annoyances have caused the Steam reviews for Bless to plummet. Currently, the reviews are “mostly negative.” Nevertheless, the number of simultaneous users is still extraordinarily high. Over 34,000 players were online at the same time, and some players praise the gameplay of Bless despite all the frustrations.
However, many gamers have had enough and want their money back. Normally, this is only usual up to 2 hours after a purchase on Steam. However, it seems that Valve is making an exception for Bless and, according to some players, is even accepting refunds up to 20 hours or more after the purchase.
