Blade and Soul, the Asia MMO from NCSoft, is getting another small expansion. This time, with the “Day of Vengeance,” it might finally be curtains for the assassin Jinsoyun. But alongside such bloodthirsty content, there are also cute pets!
Crafting revenge plans while mischievously petting a white cat – that’s how you get revenge in style! With the new update for the Kung-Fu anime MMO Blade and Soul, our heroes can partake in such pleasures, as the new update “Day of Vengeance” offers both retribution and pets!

Day of Vengeance brings us a lot of new content, including the following features:
- The 4th act of the epic anime story of Blade & Soul reaches its stunning climax as we finally face Jinsoyun in the final duel.
- There are also three new dungeons: the “Split Nexus” (4 – 6 players), the “Altar of Divine Will” (6 players), and the “Ruins of Zaiwei” (24 players).
- Instead of new floors in the Tower of Mushin, there’s now the “Tower of Infinity.” Here, we need to defeat a randomly selected AI opponent on each level within a time limit – all by ourselves!
- The level cap will not be raised, but we can achieve the 15th Hongmoon level, which is still worth something.
- The aforementioned pets are not just nice extras; if we feed these little rascals properly, they give us valuable buffs. For the Western version of Blade & Soul, there are even two exclusive pets: a cool otter in a commando style and an adorable griffon!

The update “Day of Vengeance” will be released on June 1, 2016. What do you think of the new features and the update pace of Blade & Soul? Let us know in the comments!
