The Asia MMORPG Blade & Soul has caused severe psychological damage to a man – he can no longer look at his cat the same way.

Actually, it is a terrible cliché that in the land of unlimited possibilities, unlimited foolishness also occurs. A new court case seems to confirm this yet again. As Blade & Soul celebrated its launch in recent days, the American Mark Bright enjoyed it to the fullest. He has spent nearly 37 hours in the game since then and has played the class “Summoner” – who is always accompanied by a cat.
This experience has allegedly caused Bright a psychological trauma, at least he claims.
The cat in the game is said to be “grateful and obedient, without ever asking for anything.” That has irreparably disturbed the relationship with his cat.
Upon more detailed inquiries about how it has affected his life, it gets even more curious:
“My cat [in the game] not only does everything I want, but she also lets herself be dressed as a frog and looked so cute. I tried this with my real cat, but then had to go to the hospital to get stitched up. She is so ungrateful.”
“The cat and I did many fun things in the game. We killed bosses and enjoyed the scenery. My wife would never do something like that with me.”
But there is one downside to the virtual cat, you constantly have to look at her back or even her damn backside. That is also a reason for severe trauma.
No official response from NCsoft has been given yet. Perhaps they simply have not recovered from the laughing fit.
Even though some regular gaming sites are reporting about it – many would have suspected: This whole thing is a hoax and comes from the satire site “Carotonastick.” As extreme as described here, the Americans are not that crazy with their lawsuit mania. On the satire site, there are also news like: “PETA files a complaint against the treatment of dinos in ARK.”
