In Blade and Soul the next update is coming, and this time we are brawling in PvP in honor of the great flying white whale. New items are also added for even more brawling power!
As every month, a new update for Blade & Soul will be on the servers in October, and this time it’s about a big celebration. And no, this time it is NOT a Halloween event! The former Celtic ghost festival would not fit well with the Asian setting of the brawler MMO. Rather, we celebrate the great white whale in NCSoft’s martial arts game.
On to the White Whale Lagoon!
If you’re wondering what a “Lagoon” is, it is a whale lagoon, so a lagoon for a whale. Unfortunately, the translators at NCSoft opted out of syllable separation. As mentioned before, the fishermen on the coast celebrate the festival of the flying white whale, and this creature is said to bring great luck. However, to gain the whale’s favor, we first need to brawl vigorously!
Therefore, with this update, there are no new dungeons or raids, but hearty PvP brawls. Six players will face off against each other in a new battlefield and whale-massively beat each other up. In addition to the usual rewards, there are also special new “flawless Baguas” and weapons.
Also new: A feature that allows us to see at any time what materials we need for further upgrades of our equipment. This way, we can organize our resources much better and always know what we still need and what we can sell. The festival in honor of the white whale will take place starting October 26.
