The release of Blade & Soul is just a few days away. But what does a computer need to be able to display the game? We present: The system requirements.
Even with a wooden PC, it will be bearable
After fans in the West had to wait many years for the action MMORPG Blade & Soul, the official release of the game is finally on January 19th here as well. But few things dampen the anticipation for a new MMO as much as the uncertainty about whether your own computer can even handle the display.
Because who wants to stutter through the cities at 2 frames per second, only to experience a highly anticipated game as a slideshow? The official website of Blade & Soul has now announced the system requirements – and they are more than reasonable.
The minimum requirements are:
- Intel Dual Core or AMD Athlon 64X2
- 2 GB RAM (Windows XP) or 3 GB RAM (Windows 7)
- nVidia GeForce 8600GT or AMD Radeon HD4600
Better components are recommended:
- Intel Quad Core or AMD Phenom II X
- 4 GB RAM
- nVidia GeForce 8800GT or AMD Radeon HD4850
In addition, at least DirectX 9.0c is required (which basically every computer today can easily support) and a hard drive space of 22 GB should also be freed up.
The low system requirements are probably mainly due to the fact that the game itself has been around for several years and has had time to mature in the Korean version. It arrives here in a solid and, above all, optimized state.
