The martial arts MMORPG Blade and Soul has surpassed the two million player mark.
A little over a month after the release, Blade and Soul received its first content patch yesterday and broke the two million player mark in North America and Europe. NCSoft announced this on Twitter. Blade and Soul is a free-to-play game. However, they do not disclose how many of the two million have logged in recently or play regularly.
After initial issues, as they had to continuously add more servers, the developers seem to slowly have the player influx under control. The game has been available in South Korea for several years and has accumulated a wealth of content over the years that they want to gradually release in the West. Financially, the game is doing excellently in Asia.
