The action MMO Blade & Soul is being developed for consoles. A release of Blade & Soul for PS4 and Xbox One is likely planned. However, this is not yet confirmed.
The Korean giant NCSoft has presented its quarterly figures for Q2/2017. On the sidelines of this, there was a Q&A session. There, NCSoft announced, that Blade & Soul will be released for consoles. A version is in development.
The console version of Blade & Soul is being developed by the US branch of NCSoft, and a release in 2018 seems likely.
However, it is still unknown for which console Blade & Soul will be released.

Speculation: The PlayStation 4 is quite likely; whether it will also be available for the Xbox One is unknown. The Nintendo Switch is also a possibility.
Blade & Soul – Asia through and through
Blade and Soul is an action MMO that attracted attention in South Korea in 2012 with its action gameplay and combos.
There, it has a large fanbase and has even been successful as an eSport. However, Blade & Soul only came to Europe and North America in 2016. After a strong launch, the game has been relatively quiet lately. But it is still being developed, and the Maestro will probably soon add a new class. It is already live in South Korea, but is still missing for us.
Currently, there are plans for server mergers for the western Blade & Soul. A major patch is also on the way, which is supposed to bring new content.

Blade & Soul is an Asia MMO through and through – aesthetics and gameplay are heavily influenced by Wuxia culture. The story revolves around a revenge tale, and moral boundaries blur.
Recently, many Asia MMOs are coming to consoles
Blade & Soul is the next link in a chain of established PC MMOs from Asia that are (probably) coming to PS4.
In the meantime, it has also been revealed that Tera will receive a version for PS4 and Xbox One. A port of the current Asia blockbuster Black Desert is also confirmed for PS4 and Xbox One.
