In CoD: Black Ops 6 you can complete the main mission on the map “Terminus” to unlock rewards. This mission, also called an Easter Egg, is not explained, and you need to figure out the individual steps yourself. To spare you the stress, we will show you how to complete the Easter Egg in Terminus.
What do I need to know before the Easter Egg? The Easter Egg in Terminus is complex and challenging, but if you know what to do and have the necessary equipment, you can solve the puzzle of the island. The main mission can also be completed solo, but if you want a stress-free experience, you should team up with a group.
We will now go through all the steps of the Easter Egg, tell you what you need to do, and provide important tips you should know. We will also show you the rewards you can earn. The following steps are crucial for the Easter Egg:

With our directory, you can quickly jump to the individual steps and get an overview:
Preparation: What should I consider before starting?
Before starting a run for the Easter Egg, you should consider the following equipment, weapons, and items:
- Your weapons should have silencers – Especially with the GS45
- Why? Because weapons with silencers increase the drops for scrap
- You should pack the following gum in your collection if you have them:
- Who counts the points?
- Profit Sharing (If you are in a team)
- On the House paired with Fizz Fountain
- Wonderful
- Secret Power
- Extra Addict
- Get smoke bombs in your loadout to escape from the zombies
- Set some builds of your favorite weapons that can also be purchased on the walls to a zombie loadout
- Why? So that when you pull out the weapon, you get the attachments you used in your build
Step 1: Activate all AMP Generators
Before you can start the Easter Egg, you must first turn on the power on the island. There are a total of three AMP generators that you need to activate. The locations will also be marked with a star on your screen. You must visit the following places:
- First AMP Generator: In the second room near your spawn at the start of the round. Directly opposite the office of scientists Peck and Strauss
- Second AMP Generator: Located in the sleeping area of the island in the center of the map opposite the Perk-a-Cola “Juggernog”.
- Third AMP Generator: In the underground lab on the round platform in the middle of the lab.

When activating the generators, zombies with purple eye colors will spawn. These mostly ignore you and just want to disrupt the generator as quickly as possible when it’s powering up. Make sure to eliminate these zombies; otherwise, you’ll have to restart the generator each time.
It is also advisable to leave the last yellow-eyed zombie of the round alive so that you can focus solely on the zombies with purple eyes while powering up. This saves you stress.
Step 2: Build or Draw the DRI-11 Ray Gun from the Mysterious Box
This step can be skipped if you have drawn the DRI-11 Ray Guns from the Mysterious Box. We were often lucky in our attempts to draw the weapon, but to ensure you get it guaranteed, we will show you how to build it step by step.
Open the Workbench Door
To build the DRI-11 Ray Guns, you need access to a locked area on the island with the corresponding workbench. Grab an MP or an assault rifle and get the weapon mod “Dead Wire” from the Arsenal shop.
Now jump onto the platform with the Pack-a-Punch and ride up to the next level. You need to shoot the power boxes while riding up to activate the power line to the locked door. In total, there are 5 boxes that we will show you in our gallery:

You will know that your endeavor has succeeded when the electricity travels from box to box until the door of the secret room opens.
Collect the EMF Pendant
Once you gain access to the secret room, you will see a squashed zombie on the left side reaching for you. Free the zombie from its suffering. This zombie will then leave you the item “EMF Pendant”.
Pick up the Multiphase Resonator
Next, take your EMF Pendant and follow the path past the giant zombie cannon to a tower where the Perk-a-Cola “Elemental Pop” is located. In this tower, there is a severed hand with a suitcase on a table. Interact with the suitcase and you will be able to open it. Now pick up the Multiphase Resonator.
Warning: When you open the suitcase and pick up the item, many pests will spawn above you, attacking you. So, consider the item after you quickly leave the tower.
Activate Laptops
Now you need to activate three laptops, all of which have a symbol for the upcoming puzzle. The laptops are scattered but can be quickly reached. Here are their locations:
- First Laptop: Located in an open area after you leave the room that contains the armory and the Perk-a-Cola “Stamin-Up”. Stay to the right.
- Second Laptop: Located in an open area after you leave the room with the Perk-a-Cola “Quick Revive”, on the right side.
- Third Laptop: Located near the Perk-a-Cola “Deadshot Daiquiri” when you take the path to the lab. Before you enter hell, take the right turn towards the sea. You will find the laptop before the first staircase going down on the left side.
You will know that you have successfully activated a laptop when the device’s screen turns on after your interaction.
Crack the Symbol Puzzles
Now go back to the secret room with the workbench and interact with a green screen on the right side of the room. Your character will now insert the Multiphase Resonator into the machine, activating the screen. Interact with the screen again to activate the puzzle.

Below the screen, the symbols of the laptops you recently activated now appear. Use these symbols with the two tablets in front of you to solve the puzzle. The symbol indicates which number it should represent on the right tablet.
Take this number and use it in the calculation on the right tablet. Enter the result of the respective calculation into the machine.
If the math problem is too difficult for you or you don’t feel like it, you can pay Peck 5,000 Essence in his office, who will then tell you the solution on his screen. Or if you’re stingy players like us, you can use the calculator on the website game8.co instead.
You can also easily activate this on your phone and enter the symbols of the respective category to get the correct code.

If the code is correct, the map of Terminus will appear on the screen, which currently needs to calculate the location of your next journey. Complete your round and look at the screen again. It will now show you the next location you need to visit.
Note the following about the puzzle: While you are in the menu to enter the code into the machine, the zombies will not attack you, so you can take your time and use the menu as a short breather.
Build ammunition
Now you need to build the ammunition for the wonder weapon. Therefore, visit the first location that the machine displayed to you. You will then discover a blue energy sphere on an island. Interact with it to deploy the multiphasic resonator.
Now yellow-eyed and purple-eyed zombies will spawn. The sphere will choose one of the purple-eyed undead and then overload it with its energy. You must defeat this chosen one now. Once you have done that, the zombie will drop a sphere of the same color, which you then need to bring to the large sphere.

Once you have done this twice, you can re-activate your multi-phase resonator and the sphere will move to the next island. Remember the flight direction of the object so you know which island to visit next. Repeat the sphere game twice with a green and purple energy sphere on two different islands.

Once you have done that, the last sphere will drop the AMP ammunition. Collect the final component and head to the wonder weapon workbench. You can now build the weapon, use it, and start the Easter egg of Terminus.
Be cautious when building: You should only build the blaster at the end of a round. Many zombies spawn in the room and you can quickly get surrounded.
Step 3: Activate a trap and get the hard drive
Equipped with your DRI-11 Raybreaker, find one of the tentacle traps located on the ceilings. There are a total of four traps scattered throughout the map:
- One at each of the two entrances to the caves leading away from the lab
- One in the sleeping quarters near the Perk-a-Cola “Juggernog”
- One in the room where you first spawned, towards the first AMP generator
You need to activate a trap for 500 points and then shoot the tentacles with your wonder weapon. Ideally, a hard drive should drop from the maw of the trap. If not, move to the next trap until one of them drops the hard drive.
Then take the hard drive to Peck in his office. He will reveal the whereabouts of Maya’s brother “Nathan”.
Step 4: Free Maya’s brother and kill him
Nathan is on the middle platform in the underground lab in the large, round, locked chamber. You need to open this, but you will require three numbers. You can find the numbers for the code at the following locations:
- Location for the first number: The hour on the clock in the room where Quick Revive is located. You can find the clock on the wall behind a large barred enclosure. Pay attention to the time shown on the clock. If it is 8:45, take the hour of the time as the first digit for the code.
- Location for the second number: In the dining hall of the island, there is a playing card on a bulletin board. Here, only the number on the card counts, not the suit.
- Location for the third number: In the workshop of the island, which is located near the sleeping quarters, you will find a board on the wall that counts the days without accidents. This is the last number of the code.
Now take the numbers and go to the middle platform in the underground laboratory and there to the large, round, locked chamber. Interact with the round window of the chamber to reveal Nathan. Interact again after a short time with the chamber to access the keypad. Now enter the code to free Nathan.
If the code is correct, you just need to activate the round lock of the chamber. Afterwards, the chamber will open and you must defeat Nathan – his transformation has progressed too far.

Before the fight, however, you should make some preparations:
- Use at least the following Perk-a-Colas:
- Stamin-Up for a more relaxed escape
- Juggernog to withstand more attacks
- Quick Revive to gain higher health regeneration
- Use weapons that have been upgraded at least once in the Pack-a-Punch
- Any weapon that can deal damage is worth it against Nathan, but some are better suited than others. You should bring the following:
- Ray Gun
- Sally or Sally charges forward (GS45 one-handed or punched in Akimbo)
- PP 919 (punched)
- We wouldn’t recommend the DRI-11 Amp Divertor, as it cannot slow down Nathan. However, you can use the weapon against surrounding zombies, as they spawn endlessly.
- Buy a self-revive kit (especially for solo players)
In the battle, you should shoot the heads with the yellow glowing eyes – that is his weak spot. This way, you can temporarily slow him down and deal critical damage. Otherwise, you shouldn’t expect a quick victory. Nathan is fast, and it is especially important to survive rather than constantly deal damage.
Also note the following: Nathan can heal himself in battle and refill his health bar. This happens if he bites you after his grab attack or consumes surrounding zombies. So make sure he can’t grab you and cut off his supply from surrounding zombies.
Step 5: Collect the Keycard and Visit the Shipwreck
After defeating Nathan, he drops a Keycard into the sea. Jump into the water from the lab and dive deep. The Keycard is located approximately near where Maya’s brother died.

With the Keycard in hand, take a boat, head out of the cave into the sea, and search for the shipwreck. The rusty wreck has two gaping holes on the side – drive into the largest one and stop inside.
You will find a ladder on your right side. Use it to access a secret room. There you will find a workbench with two connectors. If you pick up one of those pieces, you will be trapped in the room and have to survive some zombies before the hatch opens for your escape.

You should know these tips for the step:
- Use your wonder weapon to slow down and quickly kill enemies in emergencies
- Monkey bombs and the Casimir grenade can efficiently lure enemies away from you
- Use abilities like the Aether Shroud or your electric mines to catch your breath in a tight situation.
Step 6: Repair the Connection Points
After surviving the small room, you need to collect connection pieces and install them at two connection points. There are 3 locations on Terminus where the connection pieces fit:
- On the island in front of the shipwreck, right at the small strip of sand.
- In the mine where you can also buy the Perk-a-Cola “Speed Cola”, on the right side towards the laboratory.
- Under the tower that contains the Perk-a-Cola “Elemental Pop” (at the base of the tower).
You can install the connection pieces when you hold down the interaction button at the target locations with the large loose cables.
Again, the zombies will not spare you. To avoid being ripped apart during the installation sequence, you can use smoke grenades. They interrupt the zombies’ line of sight, allowing them to ignore you for a short time.
Step 7: Go to Peck, collect the hack kit and hack the buoys
You should definitely do this before hacking: Buy three smoke grenades, two monkey bombs or two Casimir grenades because you will need them in step 8. Also, equip the ether shroud or the electro-mine if you have them.
Once you have installed all connections, return to Peck. He will instruct you to hack three buoys in the sea with his hack kit. When you hack one of the buoys, a timer will start. If you fail to hack all buoys in the given time, you will have to hack them again.
During the hack, parasites will spit at you. You can ignore them during your hack, as they will die after a successful hack. The buoys are located at the following locations:
Step 8: Deactivate the bombs in the lab
After you have hacked all the buoys, the probably most difficult phase comes: You have to disarm three bombs in the lab while being chased by zombies and elite enemies. The catch is that a timer is counting down. When it runs out, the bombs will explode and you have messed up and lost your run.
Two bombs are located near the Perk-a-Cola “Meele Macchiato” at the stairs leading to the upper platform of the lab.

The last bomb is located on the upper floor under the meeting room.
Use smoke bombs, monkey bombs, or the Casimir grenade when disarming to temporarily keep the zombies away from you. The electro-mine and ether shroud can also be helpful. If all else fails, you can let the zombies run behind you and then slow them down with your wonder weapon, allowing you to disarm the bombs piece by piece.
The progress of disarming a bomb remains for a short time until it resets. So, you can take your time.
Step 9: Defeat Patient 13
Once you have defused the bombs, you can face the final boss of the Easter Egg: Patient 13. But before you dive headfirst into the battle, you should make preparations:
- Use the following Perk-a-Colas:
- Juggernog
- Quick Revive
- Stamin-Up
- Speed Cola
- PhD Flopper – Important if you don’t want to die by your Ray Gun or Sally.
- Buy the following items:
- Mutation Injection or Helicopter Shield
- Monkey Bombs or Casimir Grenades
- Combat Axe
- 3-slot Armor Vest
- Get the following gums:
- Shieldbearer
- Staring Eyes
- Cabin Fever
- Free Fire
- Phoenix from the Ashes (When in team)
- Near-death Experience (When in team)
- Use the following powers:
- Energy Mine (To quickly eliminate opponents in the vicinity)
- Aether Shroud (As a panic button)
- Wild Watcher (To instantly restore your armor)
- Use the following weapons:
- GS45 Akimbo
- PP-919
- ASG-89
- DRI-11 Beambreaker
- Of course, at least punched to level 2. We recommend level 3.
- Upgrade your weapons to Rarity “Legendary” (for maximum damage)
Don’t take too long: Your preparations should go swiftly because the higher your rounds are when you start the final battle, the stronger the surrounding zombies that will chase you. We recommend you to enter the fight at least starting from round 25 up to a maximum of round 35.
Once you have made all preparations and are ready, you can interact with the white door on the lower floor between the defused bombs. A cutscene will appear, and Patient 13 will spawn. The boss battle is divided into three phases, with the last phase being the most difficult. We will explain each phase now so that you do not encounter any surprises.
Phase 1: Pimples
In this phase, Patient 13 has some glowing red pimples appear on his body. Your task now is to shoot these pimples and make them burst. Meanwhile, try running in circles on the platform or back and forth behind the two cover spots. This way, you can avoid the zombies and have occasional time to shoot at the pimples.
Patient 13 will also try to hit you with his tentacles. He always slams these onto the platforms, killing everything at the impact site (unless you have Juggernog and a 3-armor vest).
You can use his attack to your advantage by gathering a group of zombies and then placing them at the impact site at the right moment to get them crushed by the tentacles.
Once you have destroyed a third of his health bar, Patient 13 will disappear, and you must survive for a short while. At the end of the survival phase, a “Max Ammo” power-up will spawn to fully equip you again.
Phase 2: Mouth and Tentacles

Patient 13 will now catch fire and temporarily open its throat – this is its critical point in the second phase. If you have shot enough into its mouth, it will stop burning and raise its two tentacles into the air.
The tentacles have yellow-green pustules that you need to target now. If you destroy the pustules and take out two-thirds of its health bar, it will dive back down. Again, you need to survive and will be granted “Maximum Ammunition”.
Phase 3: Eyes and Explosion
The last phase is the hardest. In this phase, Patient 13 is overflowing with electrical energy. Its eyes represent the next critical points. Shoot them until Patient 13 is defeated. Once you defeat the boss, the Easter egg is over.
During the final damage phase, the final boss will eventually rise up and charge an electrical ball. In this phase, you must activate your mutant injection or the helicopter shooter to be immune to the explosion.
Do not land in the water or behind its tentacle barrier, as you will be stuck. The water is contaminated with poison and you cannot shoot its eyes from behind it.
Rewards for the Easter Egg of Terminus
Whoever completes the Easter Egg will receive the following rewards:
- 5000 XP
- Skin for Maya
- A business card
Whoever also completes the Easter Egg before the story mode starts will get an alternative version of the banner with a golden skull. This is to show other players that you were one of the first to complete the Easter Egg before it was simplified.
The Easter Egg of Terminus is difficult and especially a challenge for solo players. It is worth having a team that you can communicate with.
