With Season 1, CoD: Black Ops 6 has introduced a new mode for beginners, which is meant to explain the story of the two zombie modes. Many, however, exploit this mode to gain XP quickly and easily. We will show you why you should do the same.
What kind of mode is this? On November 14, 2024, the first season of Black Ops 6 started, along with the “Guided” mode in Zombies. The Directed Mode is primarily designed to help newcomers in Zombies to complete the story-related Easter eggs with minimal stress.
To ensure this, the developers have implemented various adjustments in this mode so that fans can have a relaxing time. Although the mode was created for beginners, many veterans and camo grinders are now using the Directed Mode to efficiently gain a lot of XP.
Camo Grind and Quick Prestige in One
Why is the mode worthwhile? The Directed Mode places players on the selected map “Liberty Falls” or “Terminus,” where they have the Easter egg explained step by step for the story. Some things from the normal mode are missing in this mode.
These things include the S.A.M. tasks and the Ruckus Starter. Lastly, your rounds are capped at level 15 – you cannot aim for higher rounds, and the zombies will not become harder to defeat.
And that’s the point: the difficulty of the zombies. The higher rounds you aimed for in the normal mode, the more shots they can withstand. Starting from round 30 and higher, the tasks for headshots for the camos became a real ordeal, despite the large number of zombies. The enemies were simply bullet sponges.
However, with the Directed Mode, the round stops at level 15. You can complete the Easter egg, kill weak zombies, and easily farm XP for your weapons and ranks. We also recommend activating an XP token during your farming – this way, your yield will be more fruitful.
What should I keep in mind while farming? You should primarily focus on surviving. Use a self-revive kit when playing solo. Perk-a-Colas like Juggernog, Quick Revive, and Deadshot Daiquiri will keep you alive longer and help you efficiently complete your headshots.
