Two Characters, Double Energy
Black Desert has a lot to offer, and it is not surprising that many mechanics and game systems are not easy to understand from the start. Particularly Twinks, i.e., second and third characters, are given great importance in Black Desert. Unlike in most MMORPGs, Twinks can provide a noticeable boost and support the main character in various ways. Refaser explains to you in his video why Twinking makes sense.
The most important point is the increased energy reserve. All characters on the same server belong to a family and share a maximum energy limit – but not the current energy.
If the main character has unlocked a lot, accumulated knowledge, and completed quests, Twinks also benefit from the increased maximum energy. If your “Main” runs out of energy, you can simply switch characters – the second character will still have all the available energy and can invest it in friendship with NPCs or the various professions. Since friendship is also family-wide, the Twink’s energy directly benefits your main character!
