The MMORPG Black Desert is expanding: Valencia is coming.
On June 1, the next major patch for Black Desert will be released: the first part of Valencia arrives. The update enlarges the world by almost a third and brings hundreds of new quests, according to a press release. The main story will also be continued.
In the desert of Valencia, players encounter life-threatening conditions. During the day, it is scorching hot and the heroes need to regularly supply themselves with water. At night, it cools down and they need protection against the cold. Sandstorms can also harm players if they don’t find shelter from them. They also obscure the mini-map.
Horses or carriages hardly get far in the sand, so one should rather rely on camels. These will be newly added.
Also newly coming are “Siege Elephants“, which will become important on June 15, when the siege battles begin as a two-week test run.
Valencia also brings new weapons, armor, and accessories. The items can be upgraded to +20.
