The fantasy MMORPG Black Desert has postponed its Valencia update.
On June 1, Tuesday, the next big update for Black Desert was originally scheduled to be deployed: The desert region Valencia with camels, hundreds of quests, and much more.
Publisher Daum will not be able to meet the deadline. In a statement, Daum said: They did not make the decision lightly, but it is unavoidable. The siege module has not yet been sufficiently adapted to the server structure. As part of the changes, they also plan to combat bots and unauthorized third-party software.
A new release date for Valencia has not yet been set, but they promise the update will come as soon as possible.
Mein MMO believes: Fans will surely be able to forgive this. So far, Black Desert has consistently provided content rapidly, which was imported from Korea. Overall, the months since the launch have gone smoothly. The team that was specifically assembled for the project could not have expected that.
Now there’s the first stumble – given the tight schedule they set for themselves, this was almost inevitable.
