In Black Desert, players will soon be able to hire their very own Maids – at least in the Japanese version of the game.

In the Japanese version of Black Desert, a handful of Maids will be added to serve the players.
Maids are an important part of Japanese Otaku culture, thus they are very popular in almost all games, and are also deeply rooted in the anime and manga sector. In recent years, numerous Maid cafés have opened in Japan, where customers are treated as “Masters” and slowly, this nerd meeting point has become a socially accepted phenomenon – at least in Japan.
In Black Desert, the virtual ladies fulfill similar functions: They help sort inventory and bank slots or assist with trading with other players. If desired, players can summon their personal Maid every 20 minutes to utilize their services. A total of 6 of these ladies can be purchased rented in the in-game shop.
Whether the pretty women in their revealing outfits will also appear in the European and US versions of the game is still unclear.
